IMon-Q200 Motor Insulation Monitoring Data Acquisition Unit

The IMon-Q200 motor insulation monitoring data acquisition unit primarily replaces a megohmmeter to automate circuit insulation resistance measurements—the circuit's electrical insulation capability against DC current. Measurements can be used to analyze circuit defects while avoiding the costs and safety risks of manual megohmmeter testing.

Designed specifically for wind turbine applications, the IMon-Q200 uses DC injection to measure insulation in cables and motor windings at a DC test voltage of 500 V. Interlocked with the wind turbine circuit, it automatically stops monitoring and disconnects from the grid while the generator is running. When the generator stops, it automatically measures insulation between stator windings and ground, rotor windings and ground, and stator and rotor windings.

Technical Advantages

Suitable for wind turbine generators below 1140 V.
Three insulation measurement paths: stator windings to ground, rotor windings to ground, and stator windings to rotor windings
Test and reset functions
Backlit LCD for viewing and setting parameters
RS-485 communication using Modbus
Fully automatic measurement, with manual initiation also available
