Analysis conclusion: Significant energy at 50 Hz and 100 Hz was observed in the X direction at the non-output ends of the pump and motor. As the pump motor was a two-pole motor, the analyst suspected shaft misalignment.

Site verification: After receiving the analysis, the customer promptly inspected the pump-motor unit. Coupling misalignment was confirmed as the cause of a torque-related fault, which could have progressed to seizure if it deteriorated further.
